Forest earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas School of Education. She has worked with children and families for 25 years.  Her career in education started as a special education teaching assistant in a life skills classroom.  This is where she learned her greatest wisdom from her students, each person is different and should be met at their own levels and abilities.  While serving families as a Preschool Director, Director of Camps, as well as Youth, Teen & Family Programs, she attained educational experience and management skills to administer effective programming. Forest’s holistic approach to education covers social-emotional wellbeing and mental health, conversations about equality and diversity, appropriate life-stage healthy choices, and financial literacy.
